The flexible assembly line FAL (Flexible Assembly Line) usually consists of an assembly station, a material conveying device and a control system.
(1) Assembly station
The assembly stations in the FAL can be programmable assembly robots, non-programmable automated assembly devices and manual assembly stations.
(2) Material conveying device
The FAL inputs the various parts that make up the product or part, and the output is the product or part. According to the assembly process, the material handling device sends the different parts and the assembled semi-finished products to the corresponding assembly station. The conveying device is composed of a conveyor belt, a reversing mechanism and the like.
